You and I seem to have really similar taste @Ed Kick. Mass Effect, Arkham, Dark Souls, Witcher, Skyrim, Bastion, Bioshock, Super Meat Boy, Dishonored, Deus Ex, the list goes on.

The main difference between us seems to be you're a huge fan of sequels I was disappointed by: #Arkham Knight, #Mass Effect 3, #Dragon Age: Inquisition and (to a lesser extent) #Fallout 4. I'm weighing up getting #Dishonored 2 at the moment, hopefully we'll agree this time.

Editing … You're both extremely modern gamers. I do like me some Skyrim and Arkham City. Boy, every score on there is at least a 9. Either he scores really generous or he likes games more than I do.

Editing … Yea @Richard Pale of anyone on this site you have the highest compatibility percent thing. There also are very few games on your list that I do/would dislike Tekken, Vice City, Pro Skater 3, Beyond Good and Evil, Spyro, Witcher 2, most are games that I still like just not as much Trials, Super Mario Galaxy, Mirrors Edge, Oblivion etc. And if I had access to a PS4 I'm nearly positive Last Of Us would make it and the Uncharteds would have a good shot.

Editing … Imagining any gamer starting Spyro 2 and not enjoying it within half an hour boggles my mind.

Editing … @Dr Eggnog Apparently I might be the youngest (active) person on the site which feels weird so that partially explains the modern nature of my list. But I've also played somewhere around 400 games. I don't think I score generous I'd be interested in seeing other people total games to games they scored 9+ ratio tho.

Editing … @Richard Pale While I really loved those sequels I understand why they were more divisive. Dishonored 2 doesn't really have anything divisive like those games I'd be very surprised if you didn't really like it. @Dr Eggnog I'm not a huge fan of 3D platformers, way bigger fan of 2D and I didn't grow up playing PlayStation platformers Spyro, Rachet, Sly, etc. So I wouldn't be surprised at all if I played Spyro and wasn't a huge fan.

Editing … I don't know if someone who didn't grow up playing them would get into early 3d platformers like Spyro, Rayman 2, Banjo Kazooie etc nowadays. 5th gen games generally haven't aged well compared to the retro 2d classics or 6th and 7th gen. Before you give up on 3d platforming altogether Ed, I do really recommend Mario Galaxy and the Sands of Time trilogy.

Editing … I've played all the 3D Mario games and love Sunshine and Galaxy 1 and thought 64, 3D World, Galaxy 2, and Super Paper Mario were all good. Apart from those I am really not a huge fan of the genre. It's just those classic PlayStation platformers Spyro, Rachet, Jak, Sly etc are an era/genre/area of gaming that completely passed me by thus I have no affinity for them whatsoever. I will be playing Banjo with Rare Replay tho and I'm interested in Yooka Laylee it's been a minute since I played a good platformer 2D or 3D.

Editing … I get the not bothering with supposedly great games that passed you by when they were new thing, I do that too. If you do want to retro game though then you'd probably like Rayman 2, Banjo Kazooie, Psychonauts, Ratchet & Clank and Spyro 1-3 if you like Mario 64.

Editing … Out of those I'd say Banjo Kazooie is the most Mario 64-ish, followed by Spyro. I'd say the Ratchet and Clank sequels are just as much third person shooters as Mario 64 types. Psychonauts is really its own thing, I think it's more about the style than the gameplay.

Was hoping for the lists to be extended before updating this list but I had a bunch of changes so I went ahead and updated.
