    I wasn't sure whether Galaxy would work well on a Switch Lite, but I tried it. And yeah, it works. The handheld touch control scheme is like Mario meets The World Ends With You. I'll probably have to buy some separate Joy-Cons later, but this style is actually pretty awesome.

    Been playing this via 3D All Stars and it is just so much better than 64 and Sunshine. It looks so good in HD and I love the vibrant color palette over Odyssey's more washed out look. I'm so bitter they didn't include Galaxy 2. The Switch's pointer functionality works better than I expected, so now I just want to hop on Yoshi and nab some stars. I would happily axe 64 and Sunshine if Galaxy 2 were included.

    Here's a fun fact. I 100%'d this game, despite only playing it at my baby sitter's house for 1 hour every school day over the course of a year.

    This is a fantastic 3d platformer with fun levels and tight controls

    IMO, the Galaxy games are the best Mario platformers since Super Mario World. It's definitely the last time where it felt like Nintendo wasn't phoning it in.

    Rosalina was a great new character, and the game felt new but the same. Up there with the best Mario's.

    I love how even the level designers of this game recognise how outdated and inappropriate a lives system is, and frequently give you 1UPS directly following checkpoints xD

    I'm pretty sure Galaxy's perfection has been described enough times already. It's common knowledge that primary Mario games are shining, fully polished creative platformers. Interestingly though, this was a different feel from the series' norm, more different than 2 at least. I irrationally don't care much for Mario games, but somehow SMG1 was different enough for me to enjoy playing it. Thus, I'm one of the handful of players who realized there was room for improvement from the start.
