For some reason, Sagat's theme sounds better on the Super Nintendo than on the arcade. Baffling. Maybe the composer felt the urge to jazz it up for the home consoles. Anyways, I'm so glad that Street Fighter 5 brought back the theme again.

The HD remaster is the best version, although the music was altered in a bad way (I believe). I remember playing this at my local bowling alley as a kid...lining up the quarters on the cabinet to see who plays next. Chun Lee and Ryu were my picks.

Street Fighter II was the ultimate, defining fighting game. When it was first released on the consoles, Street Fighter II fever swept through the playgrounds of the world. Tournaments were held, champions were crowned and real life fights broke out between players. This was a game that brought friends closer together (or pulled them apart).

Nowadays, SFIIT:HF is pretty broken. The villains are designed to be a challenge, the final boss is absolutely off-the-charts cheap, and nothing feels truly balanced. But in the end, the fun factor is sometimes more convincing than the balancing issues. Turbo is my favorite version of the Street Fighter II series, and it was the first old-school fighting game I ever played (thanks, Virtual Console) and honestly, I had a lot of fun playing it, whether I got my butt beat down or I was laying the smack-down on stereotypes. It's one of the few old-school games that isn't really "easy" to play, considering most of the character's moves are pretty tough to pull off. SFIIT is one of those games that stood the test of time, though not by much.

The old Street Fighter games are the easiest for people to pick up. Even amateurs can stand a chance when they fight against other people with simple combos and special moves. The characters look pretty cool as well.

Great game with a great variety of legendary characters to choose from and a lot of unique movesets, very fun to play solo or with friends, great soundtracks. This game is a must play.
