In inFamous you can find a solid 3rd-person superhero action game which lets you decide to be the hero or the villain. Kinda.

The game features a karma system and strongly emphasizes it, rating everything you do as good or evil. But it doesn't affect all too much of the game; only minorly the gameplay, the last third of the story and the ending - which in itself has a certain incomplete feel.

The story is mostly linear and there's no multiplayer - which is both fine by me. The cutscenes are told in a simplistic but flashy comic-book-style. Skills are unlocked while progressing through the story, skill upgrades are unlockable via XP.

My only problem: the sticky auto-placement of Cole makes the controls sometimes impossible to be fun.
