Google Maps finally published an edit I made about a supermarket having closed down. I submitted it on June 5, 2014, and they sent me an email 45 mins ago saying it got published. So there ya have it -- your edits don't disappear into the ether, it just takes a year to get to them. This calls for a celebration.
