    For once, Gries and I agree (and, again, I'll probably move a few ranks further up Ulty's hit list). But really. If you want to wow and impress me with some epic elaborate overlong mess of a film, please make sure it has something more interesting and engaging to say than "Dude, we are all, like, connected on some inter-galactic, cosmic level. Like, deep, man". Hou Hsiao-Hsien's Three Times did that already, but without blowing an entire country's GDP on its budget.

      Editing … The message might've been simple, but the use of multiple timelines and the same actors in all of them was a truly groundbreaking execution. And that's mostly what I loved about the film, not only I dug the characters and the constant jumping between timelines, you're really watching something that has never been done before. Like Roger Ebert said "Easily one of the most ambitious films ever made". You're not further up my hit list, you explained yourself quite well and I respect your opinion. Actually you used exact same arguments my brother uses, he hated the movie too xD
