Maybe take the time to actually create a new IP? Or go back to an older one. Mario isn't the only thing Nintendo has to offer. Heck, I bought a Wii and I want a 3DS and the only Mario game I may think of buying is the Mario & Luigi ones, although I bought Super Paper Mario too. To be honest Mario Tennis, Mario Golf and such don't make me want to buy a Wii U. And it's not because I don't like the games, but it's because I have enough fun already with the N64 version of the games, really.

I'm not convinced, there are tons of better games and Nintendo just churn out crap relying on their fanbase to keep on buying. They should try something new, I'd be much more open to trying their products that way.
