I have a PS4 now. Haven't said anything until now, because so far I've only been trying various demos. I also got some disc games I haven't even tried yet (Horizon and Red Dead 2) and a PSN copy of Uncharted collection that was free for a while during the pandemic. I also bought the Need for Speed games and Ace Combat 7. I tried playing the NFS games but it asks me for my EA account. (So much for the days when you can buy a game, and, y'know, just play it.) I will probably get to playing them later but thus far I haven't really found anything that clicks with me.

    Demo impressions:
Code Vein - spent like, an hour creating my character. Tuned out immediately afterwards.
Final Fantasy Origin - My health always falls to 0 before I even know it. Your party says the same voice clips over and over. I can only see myself playing the game on double casual difficulty but I unno if it's even worth it at that point.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake - I literally never even left the train station. It keeps interrupting me with more tutorials to read and I was fed up after the third one. (in which you pause the game to cast spells, like Secret of Mana on the SNES, lol) There should have been a room with like, thirty or more Shinra guards that keep respawning while tutorials appear on screen without interrupting the action.
Gravity Rush 2 - Any enthusiam I had toward this game left my body within moments of playing the demo. It just doesn't feel the same. The first game's location vibed hard in its foreboding M.C. Escher-esque locations and the writing just seemed better. It's also weird to have a console entry without voiced dialogue.
Kingdom Hearts 3 - Goofy and Donald shouldn't exist. Any conversation between the two of them and Sora is drivel/fluff and is just there for "character".
King of Fighters 14 - I found that you CAN use a Vita as a literal fight pad, thanks to remote play. The input lag and other drawbacks only apply to the Vita screen, not the TV. At the end of the day though I'm going through all these hoops just to play a fighting game, which I'm not really in the mood for at the moment.
Nier Automata - This is nothing more than a linear beatemup at least judging by the demo. Not what I expected at all.
Project Cars 2 - pick an event and race. No career mode, car upgrading or anything like that. Pretty sad.
    South Park Fractured - no
Street Fighter V - long load times are LONG
Tales of Arise - wow. It's awful.

Editing … Grid Legends is on sale for the first time ever. 40.19. Maybe I'll pick it up, Can't really regret trying a new Grid entry, even if turns out to suck. Although, in that case, Project Cars 3 is also on sale, shouldn't I get that too? Decisions decisions..

Editing … Project Cars 2 is superb! It's got a career mode. FFVII remake isn't worth leaving the train station it's pure garbage. You get in a hurricane made of ghosts. Yep, a fucking hurricane. Of fucking ghosts.

Editing … Maybe I'd get Project Cars 3 now and pick up Project Cars 2 next time it goes on sale, depending on how much I enjoyed 3. I should also get an external drive because my PS4 only has 400 gig capacity. 5TB should do. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VS8QCXC/

Editing … I tried formatting a 3tb for ps4 and it wouldn't work. I did everything as it said but it never recognised it. So now it's holding about 1000 movies and plugged into the TV in the front room.
