A lot of my fav LP'ers have since transitioned into Twitch streaming, so now whenever they do upload archives to YouTube, I have to deal with them constantly interacting with the audience, and that terrible chat window that they've embedded into the video. Those videos aren't fun to me. I'm not big on sitting in on those streams to begin with, but they're even more horrible when you're watching them after the fact. It's weird that in the age of on-demand video and entire seasons getting released in one go on Netflix, we're also going backwards with live streaming. I like content that stands on its own and is timeless. My favorite LP'ers are the ones that have a good sense of humor, but also know their shit. They're knowledgable, skilled, and just have a lot of love and passion for the games that they're playing. So naturally none of the LP'ers I'm subscribed to fall into "mainstream" category.
