I made waffles using expired eggs, 2 years expired baking powder, expired vanilla sugar, not expired mineral water, butter and normal sugar. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that my waffles kinda... don't taste that great? They aren't sweet at all and taste like popcorn. I kinda think that waffles shouldn't taste like popcorn and that I maybe should stop eating them, unless I want to be sick...

Editing … 2 year expired baking powder etc is nothing. It's only the eggs I would worry about.

Editing … Yeah, I did some research before using the expired baking powder and vanilla sugar - they shouldn't give any problems. The eggs were only two days past their expiration date and they were refrigerated at all times. In fact, all the ingredients seemed fine. Even the final dough tasted fine, not sweet at all but also not unpleasant. It's like they went bad in the waffle iron or something.

They are showing those three movies in the theater on November 8th. My brother wants to go watch them and I'm thinking of going, too. Are these movies good?

I have asked an A.I. to manipulate pictures of the house I am living in to make it look different, e.g. how it would look like with a new roof, with an insulation facade, etc. It's really cool and gives me a (very) rough idea of what the final result would look like after house repairs.

Now returning things the classic way (using the manufacturer box and Amazon box with the printed-out snippet showing the returned item) costs money, great. It's only free if you go to a DHL shop and show some code on your fucking smartphone.

I think we've already reached the point where you are completely worthless if you don't own a smartphone (of which the phone's SIM card is - of course - tied to your government ID, so you get no privacy). I hate smartphones with a burning passion and I want them gone.

Editing … Smartphones aren't bad in themselves but fucking government ID is. The new law, no refills on sugary drinks. They could actually block your bank account now if you tried to buy a coke, they could say it's illegal. And if a coke is illegal what else soon will be? I'm all for camera's everywhere, that's for safety etc, and you cannot control me through them, but no fucking chance is the government controlling what I can and cannot buy. There are certain things that cross the line, and I'm 47 and I grew up with a phonebook. Everybody could find everybody's phone number and address in seconds. But nobody could control you. Knowing where you live can't stop your bank account. The government cannot under any circumstances have a digital ID for people.
