The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Japanese: ゼルダの伝説 ムジュラの仮面, Hepburn: Zeruda no Densetsu: Mujura no Kamen?) is an action-adventure video game developed by Nintendo's Entertainment Analysis and Development division for the Nintendo 64. It was released in Japan on April 27, 2000; North America on October 26, 2000; and Europe on November 17, 2000. Approximately 314,000 copies of the game were sold during its first week in Japan, and three million copies were sold worldwide. The game was rereleased for the Nintendo GameCube as part of The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, and the Wii's Virtual Console service in the PAL region on April 3, 2009; Japan on April 7, 2009; and North America on May 18, 2009. An enhanced remake for the Nintendo 3DS, titled The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, was released in February 2015.     I once started this on 3DS, but for some reason never finished it. I've started again, this time with the Project Restoration mod, which adds some quality-of-life features (binds four of the masks to the d-pad, other enhanced bindings), and restores some mechanics that were gimped in the remake.       Editing … I never got it but I heard so many bad things about it. I was also not a fan of the "improved" 3DS OOT graphics. I liked the 3d effect though but not much else.

      Editing … "Isn't there a PC version or something?" There is for the original OOT and by now maybe the original Majora's Mask aswell. If I remember correctly some super nerds recently fully decompiled Ocarina of Time so you can now go wild with it. I never tried it though. I'm scared of leaving the safety blanket of my consoles. PC gaming scares me unless it's rollercoaster tycoon or the sims.

    Great game...but weird. The mask, the skull kid...cool...but weird. This game just didn't have that same Zelda feel to me. I'm planning on playing the 3DS version, which could totally change my opinion...it's been a while since I played this one.

    Great remake! It truly was a joy to play this masterpiece again with slightly enhanced graphics, sound, certain changes to the design and, of course, in glorious 3D!

    ...however, some changes ranged from questionable to downright bad. I have no idea why they decided to change the time meter, the original was quite awesome and fit really well with the art design of the game. Now it's just a bar, no creativity or thought whatsoever. The new save system severely hurts the whole atmosphere of the game, it was this feeling of helplessness of the original that made running out of time so worrying. Now there's multiple save points all over the place, there's literally no tension given to the player because of it. The rolling/swimming controls were made far more complicated than the original, sometimes it made doing simple things a very frustrating task. And I have no idea what they were smoking when remaking Twinmold...

    Problems aside, still a masterpiece worthy of this great upgrade!

      Editing … Maybe the multiple saves are because it's on a handheld that could run out of battery in no time at all. Some games are just best suited to a home console, while others work best on a handheld.

    -Great atmosphere
    -great gameplay
    -unique story
    -because of the three-days-structure an absolutly unique "living world" --> each day is different, every person has a "life" during these three days

      Editing … That's good news. I love this game, but there are some issues that need to be address. Like the Great Bay Temple and its boss, Gyorg. Or the horrible "Beneath the Well" part, it's just so tedious.
