It essentially felt like it was in a hurry to get nowhere, moving at a fast pace, but really not covering a whole lot of ground, tbh. I know you hated season 6, but I at least thought it got more done, and had much more memorable scenes and generally felt more important than season 7 did. The show hasn't been in top form since season 4, though, and I'm pretty worried about the final season, between last season disappointing me, and the premiere being boring and already feeling kinda lazy and rushed, in some ways.
