Yes!! FINALLY Wii netplay is possible with real Wii remotes!! I mean, you connect your real Wii remote as an emulated Wii remote via bluetooth (either with a dongle or Mayflash's "Dolphin Bar"), change a couple settings and load the default profile, and BOOM! It's like using a real Wii remote, except that it now also works online! This is revolutionary!! All these years it was - at least when it comes to netplay - uncomfortable to play Wii games at best, and downright impossible at worst! Not anymore!

"As of this revision, all reported graphical issues in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour are fixed! For a title that suffered from zfreeze issues, spiky vertices, line-width problems and more way back in Dolphin 4.0, it's come a long, long way." :)

Got my original Wii U GameCube Controller adapter today and connected it with my PC.
This will further improve my already superb Dolphin experience. I never have to configure controllers again. :D Just plug them in and be done with it.

Editing … Your experience may even be better if the controller you used were wireless, wouldn't it?

Editing … Nah, I don't mind cables. I even bought two AmazonBasics USB 3.0 extension cables so that my adapter is in front of my TV while being connected to the PC on the other side of my room. Plus Wavebird GameCube controllers are likely very expensive nowadays.

Editing … I got a bunch of retro usb pads a couple of months ago, they are brilliant for emulation.

Editing … The only reason I bought a Xbox One controller today was so that I can play emulators without having to plug my dualshock 4 into my alienware.

The best emulator ever. Enjoy your favorite GC/Wii games in 4K or even better. Play with friends online in any game modes. Retexture your favorite games to make them look even better. Use your favorite controllers or original Wiimotes. I don't even connect my original GameCube/Wii to my TV anymore because Dolphin easily destroys both consoles. Yes, you need a powerhouse of a PC to fully enjoy most games. Yes, you need a fast Internet connection to enjoy lag-free, desync-less Netplay. Yes, you have to configure a few things to tweak the performance. But man - it's all worth it. The GameCube and Wii have the best game library of all time when it comes to Mario games and being able to play all these games online and with outstanding, starp and detailed graphics is just amazing. It's also amazing how much work the developers put into Dolphin, it's absolutely incredible! The emulator gets better with each new release and I can't wait to build myself a new PC for the best Dolphin experience!
