Andrés Iniesta Luján (Spanish pronunciation: , born 11 May 1984) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a central midfielder for La Liga club FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team. Iniesta came through La Masia, the Barcelona youth academy—after an early emigration from his birthplace and impressed from an early age. He made his first-team debut in 2002, aged 18. He began playing regularly during the 2004–05 season, and has remained in the side ever since. He was an integral part of the Barcelona side in 2009, the only time which a club has achieved six titles in one season. Iniesta played for Spain at Under-16, Under-19 and Under-21 levels, before making his international debut in 2006. He was selected for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, playing one game, as Spain went out in the second round.     No words can describe how great Iniesta is. He's more than just one of the greats of today's football, he's a revolutionary player. Iniesta, along with Cruyff's "tikitaka" style of play and Guardiola's mastery of it, completely changed what we thought football could be. In an age where football was getting more and more thoughtfull/tactical, here comes the playmaking genius that is Iniesta to show the world what football turned into and how it can improve in the future!

    His field vision is unparalleled, and his passing and consistency are second to none. He's incredibly quick at moving through the field, and has lightning fast thinking. He not only sees EVERYTHING that goes around him, he also creates possibilities out of the blue and predicts what they can result into. He's one of those rare players that can pull a consistently brilliant performance 90% of the time.
