My first Coen brothers movie! I watched this in film class and surprisingly, I was the only one who liked it. I laughed my ass off and I really enjoyed watching hillbilly Nicolas Cage and Mrs. Incredible run around get into incredibly ridiculous scenarios. The camera work and editing was exciting and made this movie so entertaining to watch. It really felt like a well crafted Looney Tunes cartoon except in live-action. And the yodeling soundtrack really seals the deal for me. This has to be one of the best movies I have seen in some time and it easily jumped aboard my all time favorite list.
