The last 7+ episodes are PHENOMENAL. I just wish it didn't take the show that long to get great, and the themes can be a little cheesy, but with anime that's par for the course. Still, it's a fun concept for a series overall, and the character development is really nice and feels-y. Great art most of the time, too, and I love how they fuse hand drawn and CGI art seamlessly. They left some plot lines as big question marks, like everything with Lunatic and Ouroborous. I can only assume they're going to be explored in more detail in the movie or in a possible second season.
