What an absolute mundane experience this was. Feels overly long, outstaying its welcome almost instantly, and does very little to establish itself as nothing more then just another history lesson - this person is important because reason so let us just go through bullet points of his/hers life without evolving it into something compelling. Eddie Redmayne's performance is nice I guess, it definitely has its moments. Other then that and some few moments were the film doesn't try to just be history class the film is just boring as all hell. I mean it is so boring that it gave me a damn headache, like fucking christ. But it doesn't have Russell Crowe trying to sing so I guess it isn't as bad as Les Misérables, so that is something I guess.
