This video game series is my childhood. I fell in love with this universe the first time I played The Legend of the Mystical Ninja and it's probably the first time I considered a game as my favorite among the others. It introduced me to the japanese culture and it continues to marvel me to this day.

And some years later, I heard that a new game will be released on the Nintendo 64, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. Probably my most hyped game of my life and I loved every second of it. I finished it around 20 times. I was quite obsessed by this game during the N64 era.

After this era, the series began to die pretty quickly. There was only one new Goemon game in the past 10 years (on the DS). But, despite that, I continue to love the series and I frequently replay the games I own. I would not have been the same person without Ganbare Goemon.
