Buster Keaton stars in another flash of genius on the field of silent comedy. The story is, once again, a minor detail, gently subsiding to leave room for the majestic physical comedy and incredible stunts that Keaton is known and loved for. It's basically 45 minutes of undying laughter, and it's short running time allows it to become funnier and funnier by every passing minute without becoming tiresome. I've always liked Keaton, and Sherlock Jr. is one of my favorite movies of his. Definitely a movie You Should See Before You Die.
