Saved!Rich .Editing … The Hobbit films are mostly ridiculously overstretched and bloated spectacle that was aimed more at kids rather than at returning LotR fans. They do have a couple of brilliant scenes like the Riddles in the Dark with Gollum and Bilbo but all the same I was really disappointed with the trilogy as a whole. Or in other words: I don't like half the scenes half as well as I should like, and so I like less than half the scenes half as well as they deserve.
