I remember the first time I heard "Whole Lotta Love". I was new to heavy metal, and I was like GOD, IS THIS F***ING AWESOME! Metallica? Black Sabbath? AC/DC? I love them all but please, there is only one undisputed god of heavy metal and that is Led Zeppelin (and that wasn't even their main genre)! A song that's just purely about sex to be this freaking amazing was a truly colossal achievement at the time. That has got to be the greatest heavy metal guitar riff i've ever heard. I don't even know what else to say, go listen to it. It is so f***ing awesome!
