    Saved!
This movie is the perfect argument against the "perfect structure, pacing and emotion is key" nonsense I keep hearing when people review movies: yes this movie's pacing had problems, and they went too far with some of the emotional scenes...but it provided one of the most ambitious viewing experiences i've ever had in the cinema!

The acting was great, the effects were amazing, was extremely well shot, has damn near pefect editing and the atmosphere is unmatched by anything in recent years. This is an ambitious movie, taking heavy inspiration from 2001 to create a truly epic journey that can both blow you away and touch you. Nolan reached for more with Interstellar, if it succeeded is up to interpretation. While others concentrate so hard in creating extremely tight scripts with emotional depth, that's just not enough for Nolan. He's not like other filmmakers, and Interstellar proves that ambition is what this boring Hollywood desperately needs right now!

    A flawed masterpiece!
