What I played is just an alpha version. And still playing.

"Spellirium" is a combination of point & click adventure and word puzzles. Turns out to be a *great* combination. Instead of figuring out what item to combine with which, and where, players rather solve Bejeweled-like letter grids. So far, each puzzle has a unique variation.

… But then they brought in RPG elements and a health bar for no fucking reason and the game became drastically less fun for me. A serious turn-off even.

Bad tutorials, heavy hand-holding, with BIG FUCKING ARROWS. Literally. Insulting. This is a puzzle/adventure game: obviously I like to figure things out by myself. Otherwise, I'd be playing an FPS.

Let's see how it develops.
