  Editing … Haha. I'd have to watch the remake again, but i don't remember the differences between the two to be THAT dramatic. Likewise, I can barely remember the difference between REC, and it's American remake, Quarantine. I don't remember either american remake being outstandingly worse than the originals. However, that being said, the original is where 100% of the TLC is, and I'll always find them more impressive for their superb execution with a much more limited budget.
