I was pretty bored by this movie. I can't stand those lengthy action sequences.

Editing … I DIDN'T WATCH MY FRIENDS DIE IN THE MUD so you could spout anti american nonsense like this in the comfort of your own home all the while spitting on the graves of all the great men who gave their lives to defend our precious homeland in a time of need. I'm sick and tired of all this liberal bullshit. Who do you think you are? WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!

Editing … Never met someone who didn't like the D Day sequence, it's like not liking Back to the Future or Indiana Jones. Everybody likes it. I was curious what kind of taste in films you had in general after you said that and good god man, Cloud Atlas at #1 and a horror movie sequel in your top 25? You and I have very different taste.

Editing … I haven't seen #3, 10, 12, 14, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25. The only one I disliked was Bueller. Not my kind of film. (From the honorable mentions, I thought Serenity was a poor way to conclude Firefly, but that's just because I dislike River.)

Editing … Saw's definitely a horror series and I don't think there's ever been a good horror sequel but I'm more interested in Cloud Atlas being your favourite film. For me it was a film that tried to be clever and only managed to be confusing. It's a post apocalypse story with hallucinations, a slave revolution in a Brave New World/Soylent Green style future, a cliched 1970s conspiracy, the struggles of a gay composer in the 1930s, a voyage on a slave ship and most random of all an escape attempt from an old folks home just spliced together to make a really disjointed film.

Editing … I'm honestly not sure how to justify my love for it. I suppose I found the drama gripping and exciting, the soundtrack wonderful, and the connections between stories to be well done. Just an opinion (also, I have to go right now so the next reply won't come for quite a bit).

Editing … In all fairness to Cloud Atlas I liked the style of the dystopian future and the post apocalyspse a lot and the Wachowskis made the action Matrixesque, it was the substance that let it down. @Gries He If we're not just talking films they directed then the Wachowskis wrote V for Vendetta and that was a great film.
