Stranded as a stereotypical, dumb blond girl on a mysterious, but beautiful, tropical island who suddenly has to learn to re-arrange her priorities, point+click-adventurers in "So Blonde" are confronted with an uncomplicated story, puzzles that are mostly solvable by intuition (mostly), plenty of stupid characters in all too often non-credible situations, and the occasional Game-&-Watch-style mini-game.

There's a certain charme that lets you keep playing, despite the many flaws: sometimes you have no clear goal; the dialog trees are unpolished and often empty; infamous pixel hunt; too much tedious running back & forth, especially later on. Comic-book-style cutscenes, beautiful hand-made 2D art and stiff 3D animations don't match perfectly – but you get used to it. One terribly voiced character aside, I'm happy with the German voice actors, all in all.

Overall, it's an unpolished experience but I still enjoyed the universe and I'm looking forward to playing the sequels.
