Editing … Just reading the team news and playing Azpilicueta at left back is a massive gamble for Chelsea, Walcott could really hurt them with Ozil providing him.

Editing … He's got the most assists so far in the premier league according to my mate, I'll have to check on that though.

Editing … He also had a shitton of assists at Real, which actually hyped me for watching him play. Turned out his assists were some of the most unsubstantial, pre-constructed and meritless assists i've ever seen a popular player be recognized for. I haven't watched him at Arsenal, i'll admit that, but i'm betting it's the same case here...

Editing … He was actually awesome at the start of the season, just lately not so much. He's technically brilliant, I think he just has to fancy it, he isn't always motivated. He reminds me a little of Matt le Tissier, absolutely world class one game out of five and non exisitant in the other four.

Editing … If he's technically brilliant, then what does that make Iniesta? Xavi? I don't get you guys, what is so great about this guy? I admit that the ass-kissing praise might have ruined him a bit for me, but jesus christ.

Editing … It's the sheer amount of goals he creates, more than ANYONE in ANY league he plays in. Sure, they aren't always amazing 40 yard passes, but what he contibutes to the team overall makes him special. Nobody else can do it, it's as simple as that.

Editing … Iniesta, Xavi, Modric, Isco (growing), Messi, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Gaitán, Moutinho, Alonso contribute WAAAY more than he does at his position (and these came off the top of my head, AND some of them aren't even playmakers). In Real he was just "there", he received the ball way too much for him to do a competent job at balancing the midfield. He didn't create chances, he finished them. Which any competent playmaker can do honestly. He lost a shitton of balls, made impossible passes which resulted in the loss of it, made some really weird runs which made no sense at all which padded the entire offense (this happened WAY to often for me to ignore), etc. Of course i'm speaking of what I saw him do, I guess he's a competent player who can make somekind of impact here and there, but any player can do that which makes this praise so ridiculous. I know, opinions and all, "grumble* *grumble* xD

Editing … Would Wenger - frugal being one of his managerial traits - finally spend big on an average player after all these years? Iniesta has lost some of his spark in this last year and Xavi is disappearing... In a few more years Ozil would probably pass them "pun intended" :p

Editing … Well both of them are getting old, especially Xavi, give them a break. And I still think Iniesta is blazing on the pitch, and when he isn't Xavi usually has more room to shine. Ozil is 25 or something, and he can't do half the shit these 2 geniuses did. He just missed an incredible chance to shoot for goal, and being the f***tard that he is he passed the ball to a guy that had 3 players on top of him. This guy is a f***ing idiot!

Editing … Give him a chance, it's his first season here. The Premier League is light years ahead of the Spanish and German leagues, every game is difficult and played at a very high tempo. There's none of these easy games against crap teams, every team in the PL can beat everybody else, he needs time to adjust and build up more match fitness. If he still drifts in and out of games next year I'll admit you were right.

Editing … I wouldn't call "light years" ahead of the Spanish or German league, but yeah it is definitely superior in every level (especially fairplay, I LOVE how much respect and love there is for the sport in England). I guess you could say that, but I doubt it. He's been 3 years in Spain and couldn't adapt or shit, let alone in the premier league. But who knows, let's check it out!
