• Filly Vanilli wrote her opinion about Lovelace

The portrayal of Boreman's troubled, abusive marriage falls flat in Lovelace. While I wouldn't say I didn't sympathize with Seyfried's character, the film could have taken it further. The use of nonlinear storytelling was compelling, especially in its returning to moments in Boreman's life previously depicted during the move, but told from another perspective. But this repetition left less time in the movie to thoroughly portray the ups and downs of Boreman's marriage that would have left me with a greater sense of resolution.
