I have a computer question for Husky. And nod too I guess.
On this laptop I never signed in bc it was all ready to use out of the box, rather than starting from a clean boot. According to the lock screen I am signed as "Dell" and there is no PIN, I can just click and begin using it. So I just use it like that.

My question is, should I sign in regardless? I was not planning to bc I can still do everything so who cares. In fact I actually like not being signed in. It feels like how Windows XP/7 did it. But I'll sign in if there is a serious downside or risk in not doing so that I am failing to conceive of. Lmk what you guys would do.

Editing … If you're asking if you should connect a Microsoft account, I'd say don't do it. You probably don't need to set up a new local profile either, as the Dell account's already a local profile that you can rename or set a pin for if you ever wanted one.
