    I don't have a ps5 yet but....

    I did pre-order this: https://direct.playstation.com/en-us/buy-accessories/dualsense-wireless-controller-chroma-teal

The paint effect on the other chroma controllers looks so pretty. I could not resist. I saw unboxings and they look miles better than the old ones. they have something like a two-tone paint job. I almost want to have the other ones but they are sold out. And then.... What would I need them for because ps5 almost has no couch co-op games.

I feel stupid but I don't regret it yet.

Editing … now thats hardcore. xD I got a PS5 controller too once despite not owning a PS5 bc I planned to use it for emulators. But thanks to that at least now I know what a PS5 controller is like. I ended up selling it and was able to recoup most of the cost.

Editing … How could I resist though? It's so pretty and I'm one step closer to getting a ps5. Then I can play ghost of tsushima and pretend I'm a samurai.

Editing … I like my controllers wired still, I'm too old skool for charging shit up that doesn't need to be charged.

Editing … Running out of battery is a real buzzkill. It's like you're on a time limit. "Beep boop your daily play time allowance is up." There is an easy solution though, just buy a second controller and swap them out.

Editing … I wish they still did wires. The batteries will go dead one day and then what? My nes controllers still work after 30+ years and they will probably outlast me.

Editing … I just hook up the controller to a power cord when my switch controller is low on power. It warns you well in advance so not much of a problem with that, but I remember the 360 controller eating batteries.

Editing … It's a good controller. Most modern controllers are modeled off of it I feel.

Editing … I still have a smexy black 360 pad, I thought I would play 360 but it's been close to 5 years since I bought it and still haven't so maybe I should give it a rest? It's a nice pad, nice condition. I cleaned the grime out with a toothpick and everything. I really wanted to use it sometime. Oh well. At least if I sell it someone else can appreciate it hopefully.

Editing … "cleaned the grime out with a toothpick and everything. " D-: It's always a horror to open up controllers and stuff. I always ask myself how skin cells can possibly get in those places. Then I can't believe I've been touching them all that time without a care in the world.
