Saved!KlemoibEditing … As a kid I would always dream Nintendo would make a theme park. But in my head it would be very different from what they actually did. I wanted them to buy a huge plot of land and remake some locations in their games 1:1. There would be no rides. Only landscapes and levels from Mario 64 and Ocarina of time. You'd be able to pretend you were actually in the game. It would be a larper's dream I'd think. Maybe my idea could be extended by adding augmented reality on top of the physical location for special effects and stuff if you wanted but It's not necessary. I still like my idea. It would be more like a nature park/retreat where you could explore and have a picnic with your family or nerd friends.
Saved!Husky WingEditing … Any time I hope for theme parks, I always just hope for cool settings too. The rides and games would break my immersion. I think I'd love to visit The Shire. I think the Ghibli park mainly focuses on cool areas too.
