Editing … I have the receipt it was actually €54. The restaurants are as much as €90 per adult, but we did find one for €50 each. That was in Disney park, today we're going in disney studios but I expect it will be similar prices. We got told there is a McDonald's in the disney village which is cheaper but it's a long walk from inside.

Editing … What the actual shit? I don't understand why people would go to such a busy commercial place and pay an arm and a leg. I would just sneak in my own food if I had to go. How can a Disney ticket be £700? Is that including super inflation or something?

Editing … You can take your own food in if you want but balls to that, I'm lazy. I got the ticket cheaper than normal off a website using an offer. That gives 3 of us 4 days in the park. It's about €200 a day or something like that. It's not worth it for adults, but for young children I guess it is. Isabella saw Jasmine walking through the park and got so excited she ran off to her and started shouting bonjour and waving

You definitely can't do Disney on less than 200 a day unless you avoid everything, buy nothing and eat sandwiches you brought yourself. Oh, and walk back to the hotel because the Buses are absolutely rammed.

You worked hours and hours for that money you spent on Disney food. That is much more work than simply carrying a bag of food with you. After all that hard work you can spend it on whatever you want. I however could not have fun knowing I spent so much on food. I would feel bad the entire trip. I would be a grumpy sourpuss and I would growl at the Disney princesses.

Then I bought a metre of beer to down for 45 euros because why fucking not you only live once lol. Lunch was cheap though we just got philly cheese steak sandwiches and a beer so came in at 50 euros. Yeah, it's a lot of money but it's a one off, there's no way I'm coming back to Disney. My feet are killing me from 4 days non stop walking. It's so big we were still finding new areas and rides at the end of day 4. Oh, and I bought a star wars bobble hat I liked for a very reasonable 20 euros, it's nice and thick and warm for winter.

Editing … hehe I think they like it when tourists try to speak french. They are more rude on avarage if you speak english instead of french. When they come over here to dutchland though they somehow expect me to understand their french ramblings and get angry when I can't understand their terrible english..... then like.... go to belgium or something..... there they speak french... You are too far to the north. You need to turn back. For generations now we've been neglecting our french studies. maybe some boomer still speaks french but most will look at you funny when you speak this strange language.

Then Claire got cheeseboard and I got tiramisu. Isabella had chicken nuggets, chips and ice cream. We also had a strong beer each and a nice bottle of red wine. The bill was €157. I'd expect to pay about £100-120 in Britain so it was not a bad price for Paris.

I don't watch TV anymore or read newspapers or online news. I do hear the news on the radio driving in my truck but that's all exposure I get. I've come to realise you don't need external shite, all you need to be happy is to just concentrate on yourself and maybe a couple of close friends. Ignore the rest.

Editing … I stopped watching news regularly since I was 20 or so but it is impossible to escape. The news is everywhere you go. I'm pretty much as "informed" as the average person in the end. I don't think it is completely in my own interest to ignore it either because the news is what determines what people think to a certain degree and I think it is good to know a bit about what's going on in the wider community, so I look up things I think are important and gather many different sources, but I've seen a lot of news junkies and I know that's not something I would like to become... The news and the weather report are like a morning prayer for a lot of people.
