After like 10 hours of fucking around, I managed to install four operating systems on one PC!! A quadruple boot, if one could call it that.

Not sure if it's practical or if I'll even use that computer, but I am still proud of it!

Editing … I'd really like more extra PCs to fuck around with. I made a custom Windows 7 ISO to run the OS on modern hardware, but I haven't tested it (there are other similar ISOs out there, I just followed a guide set up by a Win7 community). I saw a real tiny Dell desktop recently, the kind that can get mounted on the back of a monitor, and those look like they could be turned into perfect multimedia hubs.

Editing … Custom ISO's are the best. For Windows XP, I used the "Integral Edition" which has all the updates and fixes included. For the 64 bit version, I downloaded some guy's custom ISO from the Internet Archive, also with all the updates included. The Windows 7 ISO is custom-made as well and also has all the updates included. I included all the updates and removed all the bloat with MSMG Toolkit for my Windows 10 ISO. I also use that version of Windows 10 on my main PC.

Editing … I didn't use a custom ISO for my Win10, but I have run Powershell scripts to uninstall bullshit like the Windows Store, Cortana, and all other UWP apps. Like holy fuck Windows 10 calls for such an excess of modification before it's a bearable OS, and then it's still not as good as Windows 7. I just wish there wasn't such a thing as software that only ran on newer versions of Windows, then I could upgrade back to Win7 forever or something.

Editing … I agree, Windows 10 is bloated beyond belief! Even when using a custom ISO with all the stuff removed, I still launch W10Privacy to tweak even more settings. And I also have to use OpenShell to replace that start menu.

Editing … Oh yeah, OpenShell, Winaero Tweaker, O&O ShutUp10, OldNewExplorer, plus I use the Windows 7 Aero mouse cursors. I hate to imagine how much work it takes to get Windows 11 in a bearable state.
