      Editing … Because of this story I learn a lot about safety protocols surrounding prop guns. Safety engineering is one of my favorite topics. Apparently, you're not supposed to point a gun at another person, period, even if you think it isn't loaded. So all in all, lots of people are to blame, Alec himself included. I don't envy the prosecution team that has to navigate through all this.

      Editing … What's funny is that the extent I'm into movies isn't anywhere near where I could justify putting another person at risk of injury or death. For most of my life I never took into account the blood spilled to make movies, and even then I barely cared about them, it's just something mainstream culture shoves on our plate. Nope. No thanks, I'm out.
