Bought the Legendary Edition today and played a few hours. This is my first foray into the series and I'm enjoying myself. The story and overall vibes are very cool so far. Visually they did a great job on the remaster, looks sweet for a game from 2007. Gameplay feels a bit dated but I'm engaged in what's going on enough to make it negligible. Excited to continue tomorrow on my day off and actually get out into some worlds.

Editing … My PS Plus expires in a few weeks so I'm trying to tear through all the games I'll lose access to as quick as I can, but after that ME is going to be my favorite game on the Citadel. I'm particularly pumped for Mass Effect 3, since that was the first in the series EA made exclusive to Origin and I refused to participate in that dogshit service, so I was stuck playing the 30 fps 360 version with no save import. Then a few years later I borrowed my friends copy of the trilogy for the PS3 with an even choppier frame rate and ME1 is so dated I had to skip it and make story decisions with the interactive comic, and none of the ME3 DLC was included either. Now with Legendary I can enjoy the whole series at 60 fps, a new and improved ME1, all of the DLC I missed out on, and all of my story decisions carried through in one go. I am excite.

Editing … Gah, I've experienced 6 game breaking glitches that have forced me to redo parts of the game. This one is annoying as shit cause it autosaved right as I was headed for the conduit and now I get thrown back 2 hours and have to redo Ilos. For fuck's sake. Hopefully ME2 isn't as glitchy. This is some bullshit.
