    Saved!
Every time I watch the Arrowverse, I get to Arrow and start regretting everything. Sure, Supergirl's not very good. Flash varies in quality but generally leans towards being watchable. Legends of Tomorrow is alright, sometimes even great. But Arrow, oh god, fuck me, Arrow's one of the worst things I've ever seen and I shouldn't be forcing myself to suffer just so I can be caught up for this Crisis on Infinite Earths event. I've made so many mistakes.

Okay. I typed that paragraph and hunted down a Netflix speed control extension. It's gonna be alright.
I wonder if I'll miss out on much if I just watch the other shows and skip Arrow.

Editing … The Flash might overall be my favorite Arrowverse series. Most seasons start off really weak, but improve once they get into their main storyline, at which point the characters and humor start to shine more. Legends of Tomorrow tends to be a fun romp.

Editing … Supergirl though, I'm finding that show to be morally dubious at best. Arrests powered and extraterrestrial individuals and detains them in solitary confinement within a black site run by an agency that stages its arrests under the pretense of being FBI? That's shady as all fuck. I doubt these prisoners have been charged or had a single one of their legal rights respected. She's also displayed a great capacity for petty cruelty (to humor the audience, or to display the power disparity?) and uses excessive force to deal with smaller threats.

Editing … Isn't that the same as Superman though? He works with dubious authorities too. Maybe it's a Kryptonian thing. I prefer the vigilantes. They at least know the system is corrupt.

Editing … In Smallville, Clark Kent's a real good boy. I wish Kara were as good as Clark. Clark's defined by his kindness and how much he cares for others. He's even developed morally as the show progresses. I have one season left, can't wait to see it. Might place Clark on my favorite characters list.

Editing … I can't speak for any of the comics counterparts, so far I haven't seen a Superman working alongside any agencies though. I really hate this superhero show trend of pairing superheroes with a comms guy, or a "guy in the chair" to relay information from behind a desk.

Editing … Even if it were the same as Superman though, that wouldn't make it at all okay to me. It'd just mean Superman's a cunt too. But Superman Returns and Smallville, that's the Superman I care about, and he's a real good boy.

Editing … also also also to rag on Supergirl more, it's pretty weak that it's using aliens/metas to attempt similar commentary to X-Men and Agents of SHIELD (with the inhumans) and failing spectacularly at copying their homework. Am I expecting too much from The CW?

Editing … I really wanna watch Smallville. I rag on Superman alot because I think he's too OP, but I used to like him as a kid, so it's time to revisit the character methinks. After I finish Swamp Thing, I'm going to watch either Smallville or Doom Patrol. Possibly do Doom Patrol first as it's a much shorter undertaking. Although I am watching the DC Animated Movie Universe right now.
