Out of all the Christian rock bands in the 90s, I'm pretty sure that this was one of the better ones. Their sound is just a lot more energetic and the singer sounded more honest than everyone else. I mean, DC Talk did some weird Red Hot Chili Peppers wannabe trip...Jars of Clay was so obsessed with pop mainstream that they sucked...and Switchfoot was boring. I'm pretty sure that P.O.D. and The Supertones were the only ones worth watching.

And I realize that doesn't speak very well about 90s Christian bands, but *sigh*...f*** it. A lot of them sucked. Frankly, the Supertones were simply one of the best damn bands in the Orange County ska scene.
