With this album, Aretha demanded respect. She wanted people to think before they act like an a******. And she knew how to convey that message with one of the highest pitched soprano voices. This is her masterpiece album that broke her into the mainstream with "Respect." If I were a girl, I would sing like her. But I'm not, so uh...that's that.
