I watched this movie at the beginning of last year, and I've recently been trying to get my girlfriend to watch it. Valentine's rolls around and originally with dinner we were going to watch Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro because she likes anime. However she forgot her glasses at work and trying to read the subtitles was giving her a headache, so we try to find something romantic. Well whadya fuckin' know, we had this movie to fall back on.

So since it's been over a year since I've seen it I almost choked on my dinner when I see Bo Burnham in the middle of the shot. Eighth Grade was the first thing that brought him to my attention and that only came out in July, and I've really been enjoying going through his work the last couple of months, so it was pretty surreal to see him pop into a film I already thought very fondly of.

To anyone who hasn't seen it, it's incredibly sweet and one of the best romance movies ever.
