One of the most amazing crime thrillers. Sure, it has the setup where Gene Hackman comes incredibly close to catching a drug-dealing kingpin. Then the chase sequences turn into elaborate marathons with shaky cameras, some of the most chaotic real-life car pursuits, tons of injuries and a dark, unsettling ending that hardly resolves anything. And yeah, there's NO special effects in this thang.
