Mom and I saw a great college football game.

No, not your bloody English thing. I'm talking about the football that...isn't your football. Y'know, where players tackle each other and cause concussions or something. Oh forget it. Sigh...L.A. Galaxy sucks this year.

Editing … I like American football, but I saw that concussion controversy coming years in advance. And I know some Americans think that soccer also puts people at risk for concussions, but come on. That soccer ball is pretty soft in comparison. Or maybe my judgement is wrong and other people think that I'm high on drugs, but I doubt I'm wrong.

Editing … Honestly, I don't know how you could sit and watch a full game. The highlights are great, you see non stop action and big hits. But I once tried to watch a full game and oh my God, I'd rather sit in a traffic jam.

Editing … Well, a lot of American-style sports turned into stop-and-go affairs. Dunno why, but a lot of Americans can't keep constant attention on an entire soccer game. Lol.

Editing … In comparing sports, baseball made the most sense to me, because people have time to goof around before the next big home run/scoring run. Soccer was all about running, strategic maneuvering and...okay, I was a fullback, so I always cleared the ball. And football is...about violence and yelling at the ref in-between plays. And stupid time rules for passes and rushes...

Editing … Americans like bloodsports. American Football, hockey, boxing, they like seeing people get hurt. Aside from touchdowns nobody cares about American Football when someone isn't being tackled.

Editing … I always forget how noisy a football game is. The stadium had a DJ spinning random stuff on one side, a jumbotron blasting junk on my end, and a college marching band because why not. At least the cheerleaders look pretty ordinary, compared to some of those pro football supermodels.
