Schindler's List is still as haunting as it was back in 1993. Spielberg outdid himself, meticulously overseeing all the costume colors and monochrome cinematography to make everything look as gritty and violent as possible. The final scenes just left this haunting feeling of terror, not just that the Holocaust had actually happened, but that this could still happen again. I just wish that Spielberg didn't take that brutal style to an unreasonable fantasy extreme in his later war films. And yes, I'm referring to f***ing War Horse. Sigh...
