I'm not saying this is the worst console ever, but it's definitely in the top one.

Editing … I use mine for playing Mariokart. I was enjoying #Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE though. I'll need to get back to that. It was good fun.

Editing … I haven't owned a Nintendo console sense the Gamecube, and pretty much loathed it aside from a couple games. Tokyo Mirage Sessions is a game I desperately wish I could play, but I'd never buy a Wii U to do it.

Editing … I bought it to play Tokyo Mirage, Xenoblade Chronicles, Mariokart 8, Smash Brothers, Kirby's Epic Yarn and Lego City Undercover.

Editing … Tokyo Mirage Sessions? It may be good but I'll never know. A shame really. I still get that awesome feel from playing the original Mario Kart, Silent. I don't need the most recent version. BTW, what we up to now? Mario Kart 74?

Editing … In general, I'll buy a Nintendo Console long into it's life cycle for the exclusives. I almost always hate the controllers though, and it's a shame they aren't the best graphically. But I just gotta have my JRPG's and that means straying into Nintendo territory from time to time.

Editing … If Nintendo actually competed power vs power in their consoles so we got the best games, just like in the senes era, I'd buy it day one.

Editing … Sadly I think those days are gone. But who knows, I've been wrong before. I think. Probably. Maybe once.

Editing … Lol, I'm surprised you got what I meant to say there, autocorrect screwed me. I edited though. Men are never wrong! That once before, well there were mitigating circumstances! It wasn't just black or white.

Editing … Nintendo have had the same strategy for three consoles in a row. They rely on exclusives and gimmicks rather than actually trying to compete with PlayStation/Xbox/PC for hardware power or offering something you can play all the best multiplatform games on. Wii U was just the one with the weakest gimmick.

Editing … I'm guessing the only lesson Nintendo learned was to give their consoles better gimmicks. The Wii and Switch both sold well for them.

Editing … It's only a matter of time before gimmicks wear off. A great game library lasts forever.

Editing … Nintendo will live on. Brand recognition is too strong. And by all accounts, the last Zelda was fantastic. This has been the best Mario Kart, and the handheld market is bigger than consoles in Japan.

Editing … Meh, whatevs. No offence pal, I just think Nintendo are dooming themselves because they're too tight to try compete.

Editing … I hear what you are saying, but Nintendo has conquered the casual/family market. As much as we like to pretend games are a niche thing, there are plenty of families and kids out there playing Mario and the like. Nintendo has their crowd amd they will play to them.
