"So what is this creature?" "Its a *mumbles*" "What does it do?" "This!" Where is it from? How did you get it? Is it friendly? What's your backstory? Oh nevermind we have to chase this thing with CGI effects! Don't get me wrong: its a great movie, interesting from start to finish, but it doesn't seem to want to fill in the gaps sometimes. And its definitely not a kids movie.
