My Top 10 Games Of E3
#1 Dishonored 2- Dishonored is in my Top 10 ATF Games this is a prettier Dishonored with more depth, more intrigue, more choices, and more polish. Not much more to say.
#2 Prey- Yes, it was only a cinematic trailer but it was a cinematic trailer from a developer I love in two genres I love (sci-fi and survival horror). No new Bioshock, no new Dead Space, no System Shock 3 shown at E3. The last great new AAA survival horror I played was Alien Isolation, this could be the next.
#3 Ghost Recon Wildlands- Far Cry+Splinter Cell+MGSV in a huge open world and able to be played solo that's a good place to start.
#4 Vampyr- A first person, stealth, rpg with tons of options and choices heavily inspired by Deus Ex and Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines, yes please
#5 ME Andromeda- They barely showed anything but it's Mass Effect so they barely needed to for me to be hyped.
#6 For Honor- The combat looks fluid and brutal I just hope the campaign is interesting enough to warrant a purchase.
#7 Forza Horizon 3- More of a fan of main Forza games but the game looks visually great add 350 carsand put it into Australia and I'm in.
#8 Inside- After what seems like years of silence we finally saw more of this amazing looking atmospheric platformer and with a close release date.
#9 Battlefield 1- They annoyingly showed the same three times during the conferences, at least it was a very good looking trailer.
#10 We Happy Few- Loved the Bioshock vibe just wish it wasn't an open world survival game.
#1 Gears 4- Played Gears 1 and wasn't a huge fan. 4 seems like a more intelligent Gears with something more than cover shooting. Bonus points for having Laura Bailey.
#2 Horizon: Zero Dawn- What more can I say that everyone else hasn't. It's only off my list since I don't have a PS4 it would easily be 1-2 if I did.
#3 God of War 4- Never had to much interest in God of War but 4 looked really good. Also leading the conference with 5-10 min of just straight gameplay is the way more games should be showed off cough Ubisoft cough cough Ghost Recon. Not on list for same reason as Horizon.Loading …
While E3 technically has a couple of days to go, the conferences are all over, and I have to say that this year was a lot better than I expected. Disregarding EA's abyssmal showing, all the conferences had plenty to show and there was a good deal of games for me to get excited for. Standouts are: [#118950:Horizon: Zero Dawn], [#118952:South Park: The Fractured But Whole], [#11540:The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild], The Insomniac Spiderman game and [#144422:God of War]. I also like the look of [#74406:Scalebound] and [#149271:Steep]. A fine year and another fun time in the chat! We really need to use that more often :PLoading …
[#578:Nintendo] Treehouse in T-30mins people! :DLoading …
It's very lonely in the chat :P Will anyone be watching the [#17033:Sony] conference?Loading …
This has been pretty bad so far. Fe, and Prey are the only things of interest this year.Loading …
Yea, so I am going to miss Microsoft, PC and Ubisoft conferences today :/ Yay! *weeps*
I doubt there will be anything of interest for me at any of these conferences, but that's a big ol chunk of E3 I'll have to catch up on before the Sony conference! So my current plan is:
- Get home 10pm
- Give nod/grunt of greeting towards family members
- Launch food in Microwave
- Fire up Favslist chat
- Watch all the streams I missed until 2am
- Go all Fanboy over Sony's conference
- Declare this the best/worst E3 in memory
- Get drunk while doing all of this
- Crash out
- Stay on Favslist all day Tuesday and enjoy the rest of E3 :D :D :DLoading …
Well, [#538:Bethesda Game Studios] had a decent showing, especially if you are a Dishonored fan. I don't have any interest in their games, because I dislike First-person games, but [#61260:Dishonored 2] looked pretty good and that timeshift mechanic was impressive. Fallout fans will probably be interested in the vault DLC, and the opening up of level restrictions in Elder Scrolls online was a particularly nice touch. Nothing for me, but they showed off a resonable amount, including a new Quake and a Prey reboot. Although it did feel a little like an advert for Quakecon :P A damn site better than EA's travesty last night.Loading …
PlayExpo was fun! But now it is over, I'm strapping myself in for E3! \o/ Whoooo!Loading …
Really sad. Nin-chicken-tendo is a failure. Microsoft is microsoft. The PC gaming show is just going to be cringey again. I am expecting all games announced to come out in 2020. 0/10Loading …
