I don't really like any of these songs.

Well, that was a waste of 10 bucks

Editing … That's pretty harsh. Not even Sgt. Pepper or A Day In the Life (the best Beatles song)

Editing … They are too good musicians if that makes sense. I tend to like bands debut albums - The Arctic Monkeys, The View etc. When bands start out they have an energy about them. What they lack in ability they make up for. Once they get better I dislike their songs.

Everything the Beatles had established before in Revolver was pushed to its absolute limit in Sgt. Pepper. Revolver is filled with ambitious ideas all executed perfectly, but it wasn't until Sgt. Pepper that these ideas were pulled together into a more consistent format where every song really works off the last one. Sgt. Pepper has a flow and togetherness that Revolver lacks. Sgt Pepper has a very finite vision and guides you through every nook and cranny of it. There's so much ambition and experimentation, and it's done so unbelievably perfect. Needless to say, I can see where the hype for these guys lies.

Disregarding my own, the 6 highest rated albums on this site don't have opinions on them. Where are all the big music fans?
