Editing … Wasn't a brag post. If I truly wanted to brag, could have gone bigger than that, but all I wanted to say is that for all the faults AC series has, it does a remarkable job of recreating actual locations and obviously a lot of work goes into researching the locales that are in game.

Editing … You going to do the full ACII tour while you're there Pudd? Monteriggioni's worth a visit and San Gimignano's really awesome to see. It's not in AC2 but I really recommend Siena as well. They're not far from Florence, you can visit all three in a day.

Editing … Got back this week, actually. Didn't get to visit those locations, unfortunately, but what I did get to visit was, aside from Florence: Rome, Venice, Monte Casino and Naples (Pompei). Was an awesome experience that had my mouth agape a whole lot of time. Hopefully next time, reny! EDIT: Forgot about Vatican!

Editing … Yeah, when they said it was completely floored by the Allied forces (the Brits ordered it, no?), I was surprised as it looks as no such thing ever occurred. It's been completely rebuilt from the ground up. Also, the whole library was saved as the Germans took all the books and placed them into Vatican, if I remember correctly.

Editing … See, the Germans weren't so bad after all. It's just Gries giving them a bad rep! :D If you like that kinda thing my favourite author wrote a book about his time there. His stories are humorous and meant to show how himself and his friends made war, but exaggerated of course, his stories are BASED on what he experienced but tell the truth about men at war: http://www.favslist.com/pages/Monte-Cassino/21802
