Never played the first two but I'm glad I took a chance on this one. A linear shooter's pretty different from what you usually get from Rockstar but you'd never know.
I love the over the top shooting and the set pieces are awesome. The way the story's told is great too, bleak as hell and a little heavy on the cut scenes but it's not predictable and the writing's top class.
