By the way, I had no idea that Paper Planes would make M.I.A. world famous. When I first listened to it at my editor's desk, I thought it was awesome with the gunshot sounds and everything. But I always wondered whether M.I.A. would try to make it into a hit, because at the time, she chose "Boys" as the lead single. Then all the alternative rock stations started playing Paper Planes. And the rest is history.
