    Inside Review

Other devs and publishers need to look to Playdead to see what true worldbuilding looks like. To see what a fully realised, completely immersive, truly original world looks like. To see a game with no cast of accomplished actors, not a single line of dialogue, not a single letter of text. To see a game with no combat system, no inventory, no quests. To see a game without any of those things I just mentioned, so effectively do so much with so little, to have your complete and undivided attention with every intricate little detail, to literally have every single thing ever on the screen have a distinct purpose. To see game from within minutes upon starting, 100% completely envelop you in its world until the second the game ends. You will stare, mesmerized by every second of this game.

I honestly don't need to, nor shouldn't say anything about things that happen during the game, to do so would lessen the experience but I'll mention a few things. It somehow looks way better than Limbo. It's world is more intriguing. It might have the best sound design I've ever heard. The atmosphere is again captivating and basically perfect. It's just simply incredible, and to use a description that contradicts its self but perfectly describes the game. It's a minimalist sci-fi epic.

    9.5/10
